Penstowe park is located in Kilkhampton, approximately 5 miles from Bude. The village has a number of shops, two 'family friendly' pubs and a large church. The village is a ten minute walk from Penstowe park.
At Penstowe there is a splendid manor house with indoor swimming pool, large sports hall, bar, restaurant and a large function room offering nightly entertainment. Membership of this facility may be part of your rental package. If not temporary membership may be purchased separately.
Alternatively there is the Stables bar and restaurant run by Paul and Tania, pictured below, they also provide a superb outdoor heated pool, a small shop and a launderette.
